Living Color

This is a 1:1 macro photograph of a small lichen that I found growing on the trunk of a tree.  I really like the range of colors that existed in the scene. The candy-cane red contrasted so nicely with the minty green parts of the lichen and also the vivid green moss on the tree trunk.
